The cirque des Fonts is the starting point of several excursions:

It is also possible to explore the cirque itself and attain the impressive cliffs that surround the pasture. From the hamlet 'basin' or fountain follow the path which gently goes uphill to the head of the meadow then down across the torrent to the path that winds up through the forest on the other side.

You may prefer to walk side by side with a gentle donkey carrying your luggage. This option can be organised.
