An Alpine meadow The pasture and chalets are nestled in a picturesque mountain cirque. Come visit and you will be surprised by the wild beauty of the site intimately surrounded by mountain cliffs from which numerous waterfalls spring. If you look carefully, you may see the Ibex or the Chamois, or perhaps the royal eagle, gliding gracefully overhead. Geographical situation
The commune of Sixt is located in the Haute Savoie department; its
altitude varies from 765meters above sea level in the village to 3109meters
atop Mont Buet. Within its boundaries lies the largest natural reserve
of Haute Savoie, 9200 hectares, or 22,730 acres, of protected nature
with exceptional flora and fauna.
